AUSTIN -- Bijan Robinson is one of the cornerstones of a budding Atlanta Falcons team that was on the verge of winning the NFC South and hosting a Wild Card playoff game. Despite being named a finalist for Offensive Rookie of the Year, many fans felt that Robinson wasn't used properly by head coach Arthur Smith.

The front office showed that they agreed with the poor results, as Atlanta fired Smith and hired Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to be the team's next head coach.

Making sure a face-of-the-franchise player like Robinson approves of the hiring is always something to monitor. You'd never hear someone like Robinson talk bad about his coaches anyway, but he made it clear during an appearance on "Up & Adams" that his relationship with Morris is already starting strong.

“I was already ready to meet him, go on the field, and run through a brick wall," Robinson said.

Take a look at the clip:

Robinson, 22, was the No. 8 overall pick by Atlanta in the 2023 NFL Draft. He won the Doak Walker Award during his final season at Texas in 2022, leading the nation with 1,894 total scrimmages yards (1,580 rushing, 314 receiving) and finishing second in total touchdowns (20). He also led the Big 12 in carries (258), rushing yards (1,580) and rushing touchdowns (18) during the regular season.

During his rookie season with the Falcons, Robinson posted 214 carries for 976 yards and four rushing touchdowns. He added 58 catches for 487 receiving yards and four more scores.

If Morris is able to use Robinson like the franchise running back he is, these numbers could look even better next season.
