With head coach Steve Sarkisian at the helm, the Texas Longhorns have been bolstering some of the most talented rosters in all of college football.

In his three seasons at the helm, the Longhorns have had a top-3 recruiting class with five-stars like Arch Manning and Anthony Hill headlining the bunch. When Texas dabbles in the transfer portal, they also haven't had issues by any means bringing in talent from the route either.

This year alone they brought in the No. 6 recruiting class and No. 7 transfer portal and according to rankings put together by Dave Campbell's Texas Football, are home to some of the best players in the entire state at the college ranks.

They ranked the top-10 players at every position using only Texas programs, and as you can imagine, there were Longhorns littered throughout. Starting in the trenches, left tackle Kelvin Banks was the lone Longhorn representative in the offensive line category.

He was however ranked as the No. 1 offensive lineman, which shouldn’t shock anyone considering he has been protecting Quinn Ewers' blindside since the moment he set foot on campus. Opposite of him across the line, defensive tackle Alfred Collins also came in as the No. 1 player at his position. Both Trey Moore who transferred in from UTSA and Ethan Burke were among the top-10 players at EDGE at No. 2 and 8 respectively.

Linebacker Anthony Hill was tabbed as the No. 2 linebacker after his stellar freshman season on the 40, while Texas' safety duo of Jahdae Barron and Clemson transfer Andrew Mukuba came in at No. 1 and No. 6. After being a weakness last season, the Longhorns' secondary is expected to make a major step in 2024.

There is a mixture of veteran talent and youngsters that should bolster a unit that was torched in big games. Terrance Brooks was the lone corner that made it for Texas as the No. 5 player at his position.

At receiver, Texas had two players grace the list with Alabama transfer Isaiah Bond and Houston transfer Matthew Golden each making it at No. 1 and No. 7. They are expected to fill the shoes of potential first-round picks Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell, and could form the fastest receiver duo in the entire country.

They weren't the only new pass-catcher in Austin to make it as Alabama tight end transfer Amari Niblack was ranked as the No. 5 player at his position, and could be poised for a breakout year in a more efficient passing attack.

Texas' running back duo of CJ Baxter and Jaydon Blue have big shoes to fill and they were also featured at No. 4 and 9. They could very well form the top running back duo in the country, and there is only more and more talent in the room behind them.

Topping the list at the most important position in sports was Quinn Ewers. In what will be his third year at the helm, Ewers is considered one of the best gunslingers in all of college football and will be the catalyst if the Longhorns can make a push for the title.

All in all, this may be one of Texas' more talented roster of the 2000s, and Sarkisian is only getting started.
