Longhorns RB Roschon Johnson's Senior Bowl Cut Short Due to Broken Hand

After impressing scouts on day one, Roschon Johnson will have to miss the rest of his Senior Bowl activities.

It is no secret that running back Bijan Robinson was the star of the show offensively for the Texas Longhorns, en route to bringing home the Doak Walker Award.

However, Robinson was not alone in the backfield as his running mate Roschon Johnson arguably would have been the lead back at most other schools.

Johnson finished his final season as a Longhorn rushing for 554 yards and five touchdowns, adding 128 yards and a touchdown through the air on 14 receptions. As such, Johnson earned an invite to the Senior Bowl.

On the first day of practice on Tuesday Johnson impressed the scouts in attendance, and was considered one of the biggest risers up NFL draft boards according to Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy.

Unfortunately for Johnson, though, he broke a bone in his hand on the first day of Senior Bowl practices and will be unable to participate in the rest of the activities moving forward.

Despite that, though, Johnson impressed scouts on day one and has four years of film to show NFL teams why he's worth a late-round pick.

Whoever drafts him will end up with a steal, and a late-round gem.
