Longhorns Officially Sign WR Isaiah Bond, Reveal New Jersey Number

In this story:
AUSTIN — The Texas Longhorns landed a commitment from Alabama transfer receiver Isaiah Bond on Sunday before wasting little time to sign him.
The Longhorns now officially secure Bond to the 2024 roster and announced the move on social media. He arrived in Austin yesterday and already has a new jersey number.
Bond will wear No. 7 next season, switching from the No. 17 he wore at Alabama. His nickname of “007” of course pairs fittingly with his last name. He now has the jersey number to make it all work.

The addition of Bond potentially gives Texas its leading receiver for next season, so the hype surrounding his arrival to Austin on Saturday was real. Longhorns fans went wild with speculation on social media, with many saying they felt the team had already secured the commitment behind closed doors due to how swiftly Bond came to the Forty Acres after entering the portal.
