In this story:

AUSTIN, Texas -- The No. 7 Texas Longhorns will look to say a triumphant goodbye to the Texas Tech Red Raiders while simultaneously punching their ticket to the Big 12 Championship as they host their heated rivals in the regular-season finale in Austin on Friday.

A win would send Texas to Dallas for a chance to play for a conference title on Saturday, Dec. 2. It's safe to say that the program knows what's at stake, and posted a hyped-up game trailer on social media to reflect this.

Narrated by former Texas tight end David Thomas, the video is sure to get fans excited for kickoff.

Take a look:

The Longhorns control their own destiny to a berth in the Big 12 title game, but Texas Tech stands in the way.

The Red Raiders are looking to play spoiler, as a win for Texas Tech would end the Longhorns' College Football Playoff hopes while potentially knocking Texas out of the Big 12 title race depending on the results of the Oklahoma State and Kansas State games on Sunday.

Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire praised Texas defensive lineman T'Vondre Sweat, who could make another big impact on Friday.

"I don’t know who’s blocked him," McGuire said of Sweat. "He’s such a big human, 360 pounds, very physical. As a football guy of watching guys progress if you turn on the tape two years ago, I don’t know if he was trending in that direction. As far as the way they’ve been able to develop him and how hard he plays.”
