Four-Star Texas DB Target Jaden Allen De-Commits From Longhorns

Texas has lost its first commitment of the 2024 class

After more than a year of being committed to the program, four-star 2024 Aledo (TX) defensive back prospect Jaden Allen has de-committed from the Texas Longhorns.

The Younger brother of 2022 signee Bryan Allen Jr., Jaden is one of the top defensive back prospects in the 2024 class and is a fast riser at the position.

Allen already holds offers from an impressive list of schools, including Alabama, LSU, USC, Mississippi State, Michigan State, and more.

The Longhorns will continue to pursue Allen until the end of the cycle.

Standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 150 pounds, Allen has been a starter on the varsity squad since his freshman season in 2020, where he helped Aledo win a 5A-Division II state championship.

The Longhorns originally offered Allen over the summer on June 1 and were the most recent of the three power five programs to extend him an offer, with LSU being the first.

quarterback Trey Owens and athlete Hunter Modden are now the only remaining 2024 commits for the Longhorns in the 2024 class.
