UCLA Football: All-Conference Bruin Key For Contender's Defense In Latest Win

Possibly the league's most dominant unit.

Former UCLA product Osa Odighizuwa sparked his new team's dominant win in week 4 of the NFL season.

The Cowboys defensive tackle played his part in a dominant win over the New England Patriots to push his team to a 3-1 record.

Dallas destroyed Mac Jones and sent him to the bench by the third quarter of their contest against the Patriots last Sunday afternoon.

Dan Quinn's stellar unit forced three turnovers from Jones and built a sizeable lead thanks to two defensive touchdowns in the first half.

The score was tied at three early in the first half, but that would be as close as New England would get to victory for the rest of the game.

Daron Bland and Leighton Vander Esch scored from a pick-six and fumble return touchdown, respectively, as Dallas rebounded from a surprise loss to the Arizona Cardinals in week 3.

Odighizuwa has been a vital part of Dallas' success thus far as part of possibly the best overall defense in the NFL.

Seven total tackles and three sacks mark the old Bruin defensive tackles stat line thus far into 2023, and he's continued to be a vital piece in the trenches.

The former third-round pick couldn't ask for a better start to his first month of the year, but a tough test lies ahead of his team.

Set to face their hated rival 49ers, the Cowboys want revenge for the past two seasons' divisional round exits to San Francisco.

This Sunday night should be a great early season measuring stick for two NFC contenders, but Odighizuwa hopes his team will come out on top.
