UCLA Football: Bruins All-American Tops the List at His Position in Week 7

The Bruins senior edge rusher will look to prove the ranking right!

It won't get easier for your Bruins tomorrow when they take on another ranked Pac-12 opponent, the Oregon State Beavers. This time, they will head up north to the Pacific Northwest, in hostile territory in Corvallis.

The Bruins will need all they need and more to come up with another 'upset' win, and they'll look to rely on their defense. The defense that has shown up and showed out all season long, thanks in large part to their stud of an edge rusher, Laiatu Latu.

There's no doubt that Latu is their best defensive player and possibly their best player, period. He's shown what he can do all season long, and because of this, he earns the top spot in his position heading into Week 7, according to On3.

Washington State tried their best to contain Latu, but it was tough as he recorded three total tackles and one sack against the Cougars.

The Beavers will look to minimize Latu as much as they can, but after a relatively slow week, he will want to get at their star QB, DJ Uiagalelei. He might need to if they're going to come away with a big conference road win.

Expect the defnese to keep putting the clamps on opposing offenses. They'll look to do so with the help of Latu and their other edge rusher, who made the list at 15, Grayson Murphy.

Both have had phenomenal starts to the season, and they'll need their A-game to move to 5-1 and closer to a shot at the College Football Playoff.

This game will be fun, and we cannot wait to see how they perform against the Beavers.
