UCLA Football: Bruins Land at 19th in First 2023 College Football Playoff Rankings
We’re heading towards the end of the 2023 college football regular seaosn, which means it’s almost playoff time, Bruin fans. The anticipation is building, and each game will hold great significance, especially for a team that is ranked in the Top 25.
The first edition of the 2023 College Football Playoff rankings was released today, and your Bruins come in at number 19.
The Bruins still have a long way to go, but on the bright side, they are above their cross-town rivals, the USC Trojans.
UCLA is one of six Pac-12 teams in the College Football Playoff standing, with the Utah Utes, Oregon State Beavers. Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies in front of them.
The Bruins are riding high after their convincing win against the Colorado Buffaloes and will continue to ride the wave this weekend when they take on the unranked Arizona Wildcats on the road. UCLA cannot afford any more hiccups because if they do, their chance at a NYE Six bowl game or Pac-12 title will go out the window.
