UCLA Football: Bruins Lead All Colleges in Huge NFL Stat

The Bruins led the pack in the category.

The UCLA Bruins may not have made it to the College Football Playoffs, but it doesn't mean they have slouches on their side. The Bruins can produce talent, and the numbers prove that to be true.

The UCLA program produced 15 rookies who were either drafted, signed, or invited to NFL camps in the 2023 season. They were number one in this category, beating out schools like TCU, Georgia, and Illinois. They also tied Alabama for the most.

Last year's Bruins class highlights Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet, Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo, New England Patriots offensive lineman Atonio Mafi, and Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Jon Gaines II.

These guys were crucial for the Bruins' success in 2022 and have shown they are more than capable of making an impact in the NFL. The four mentioned above aren't even a quarter of the others who made their own name for their respective team.

It'll be challenging for the 2024 class to replicate this, but there are plenty of talented players on the UCLA roster like Ethan Garbers, J. Michael Sturdivant, and Kain Medrano.

Once the 2024 season wraps up, the Bruins might be the lone college at the top with the most rookies making the leap to the NFL.
