UCLA Football: Bruins Show Love to Former Stars Ahead of 2023 NFL Season

Plenty of alum well represented on the gridiron.

The Bruins' current football season is off to a flying start after their victory against Coastal Carolina, but a callback to previous legends from the university was made earlier this week.

Ahead of Week 1 of the NFL season, the UCLA football Twitter account shared their support for their former stars who are now playing in the pros.

Among the 26 current names that are on an NFL roster, a few notable players stick out to many fans.

Eric Kendricks, back home in Los Angeles with the Chargers, signed with the team in after a long tenure in Minnesota for the Vikings, eager to help fans at Sofi realize the true talent on the Bolts' roster this year.

The linebacker will hope to shore up the middle of LA's defense after a disappointing finish to his time in the NFC North, going one and done to the Giants in the Wild Card round in a similar fate to his new team.

Kenny Clark's presence is still very present in Kendricks' old division as the Green Bay defensive tackle has long been one of the best nose guards in the league for a while now.

Perhaps the most impressive Bruin is a more recent alum in Dorian Thompson-Robinson who is coming off of an insane preseason showing.

The old Bruins' signal caller for a long time won the top backup job in Cleveland to be Deshaun Watson's primary understudy for the Browns after he dominated in his audition before the regular season.

Kolton Miller's place on Vegas' offensive line also can't be ignored as the tackle has been rock solid for the Raiders since being drafted years ago.

UCLA's presence in the NFL is still as strong as ever as many veterans and some exciting young prospects will be the blueprint that this year's Bruins roster want to emulate in short order.
