UCLA Football: Mountain West Saefty Commits To Bruins

The Bruins make a transfer portal addition of their own

Your UCLA Bruins have made a significant add from the transfer portal!

Former San Diego State safety Marcus Ratcliffe, who entered the transfer portal in early December, announced he will transfer to UCLA.

Ratcliffe only spent one season as an Aztec. In his freshman season, he recorded 50 total tackles, 30 solo tackles, one interception that returned for 29 yards, and one pass defended.

The freshman is the first to transfer into UCLA out of the transfer portal this season. The former three-star recruit had several offers coming out as a high school senior, including Colorado, Cal, BYU, and Arizona.

Along with the rest of the Bruins, Ratcliffe will now go from the Mountain West Conference to the Big Ten as the Pac-12 falls apart, a significant change, and we wish him the best.

Welcome to Westwood, Marcus!
