The UCLA Bruins will bring back a key piece to their defense this upcoming season, and he goes by the name of Ale Kaho.

Kaho is a six-year linebacker and will enter his third year at UCLA after transferring from Alabama. His role was limited in 2021, playing in 11 games with two starts; however, that's all he has done for the Bruins at the moment as he struggled with injuries last season dealing with a lower right leg injury.

Now all that is behind Kaho as he is back with the Bruins in fall camp, getting his reps in and looking to make a difference for UCLA.

It's been a long road for Kaho, and his teammates realize that, including defensive back William Nimmo Jr. who is happy to have his guy back playing football.

“It’s definitely inspirational because (Kaho) came a long way,” Bruins defensive back William Nimmo Jr. said after practice. “He’s had some injuries along the line, and he’s a great guy and he’s somebody we’re pulling for and we’re going to be happy to have him back this season. To have anybody back in the unit will make us stronger, so we’re just looking forward to that.”

The 6'2", 230-pound linebacker will look to make a significant impact on the Bruins defnese alongside new defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn. We can't wait to see Ale go out and do his thing again.
