The Bruins are in the running for another blue chip big man.

Class of 2022 center Ernest Udeh Jr. narrowed his list of potential destinations to 10 on Monday, and UCLA men's basketball made the cut. Michigan, Florida, Baylor, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Tennessee, Miami and Alabama were the other schools to earn a spot in Udeh's top 10, and he is also considering newly-formed professional league Overtime Elite.

The Bruins gave Udeh an offer July 9, one of his 24 Division I scholarship offers.

Udeh is ranked as the No. 20 prospect in the country by 247Sports, No. 52 by ESPN and No. 115 by Rivals. He is expected to become a consensus five-star recruit when all outlets release their full rankings resets taking this past summer into account.

As a junior at Dr. Phillips High School (FL), Udeh averaged 10.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. On July 12, he earned an offer to the National Basketball Players Association Top 100 camp, which took place at the end of July.

Udeh led all players with a 75% field goal percentage and 8.0 rebounds per game at the camp.

The 6-foot-10 center spoke with 247Sports' Eric Bossi about each of his final candidates, saying this about his fit within coach Mick Cronin and the Bruins' system:

"When it comes to UCLA going through their roster I fit in pretty well. We had a zoom not too long ago and they showed me a bit about inside of their practice gym. They broke down my game and I think that was good how they were able to pull some clips from last summer and show some comparisons to how they play, what I do, what I can do better it was a pretty good talk."

UCLA's only two 2022 commits at the moment are guards Amari Bailey and Dylan Andrews.

Including Udeh, the Bruins have five offers out to uncommitted 2022 power forwards and centers. Most recently, 7-footer Vince Iwuchukwu listed UCLA in his top five on Aug. 6.
