UCLA Basketball: Dylan Andrews Lands First-Ever Pac-12 Honor

The Bruins star sophomore Dylan Andrews continues to shine.

The UCLA Bruins continue to showcase their grit and toughness, committing come-from-behind victories like their last against Oregon on Saturday. After a wealth of losses, the team has won five of their last six.

A big reason for that is the emergence of sophomore guard Dylan Andrews, who has been showcasing his elite scoring capabilities. Andrews logged an average of 19.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.5 steals in his last two games, resulting in his first-ever Pac-12 POTW honor.

Andrews has found a way to be all over the court while also helping many of his teammates score. With the help of Adem Bona, Sebastian Mack, and Lazar Stefanovic, these Bruins are starting to look like a much different team.

Head coach Mick Cronin has been praising toughness this entire season, and it appears as though the team has finally received the message. They are playing with a newfound energy, and it could be that the Bruins have found their footing.

Andrews and company will need to continue their winning ways if they are to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. But should they continue on their current trajectory, they may just turn out to be a darkhorse candidate to make a deep run.
