UCLA Women's Basketball: Three Bruins Stars Land All-Pac-12 Team Honors
With the Pac-12 women's basketball regular season coming to a close this past week, the conference announced the players who made the All-Pac-12 team, which included three UCLA Bruins. This is the first time UCLA has finished with three players on the All-Pac-12 team since 2013, via UCLA Communications.
Kiki Rice, Lauren Betts, and Charisma Osborne were each named to the All-Pac-12 team along with 12 other Pac-12 basketball players, meaning UCLA accounted for 20% of the All-Pac-12 team this season. This is Osborne's fourth time making the All-Pac-12 team. Betts and Osborne also made the Pac-12 All-Defensive team.
The 6'7 Betts averaged 14.9 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Bruins in 2023-2024 during her sophomore season. Betts transferred to UCLA this year after spending her freshman season with Stanford.
The sophomore Rice averaged 12.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists while shooting 45% from the field.
As a grad student, Osborne averaged 14.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in her fifth season with UCLA. She has led the Bruins in both points and steals this season. Osborne was also recently honored by the Bruins on senior day.
All three players have been key for the Bruins' tremendous season in which they went 24-5 overall and 13-5 in the Pac-12. UCLA finished No. 7 in the AP Top 25 poll after the regular season.
