Ex-Trojan DeMar DeRozan is spending his offseason much like his regular seasons usually go. After another successful season with the Chicago Bulls, DeRozan decided to take his talents to the Drew League this summer.

In his most recent game, the forward tallied 33 points and 8 assists as his team, the Cheaters, stayed undefeated in their current run in the popular rec league.

Displaying an array of post moves, a flurry of pump fakes and mid-range mastery, the current Bulls star was in a groove we've all seen before.

DeRozan began his career as a standout for his Compton high school before playing at USC for his lone college season. His athletic displays caught the eye of the Toronto Raptors who drafted the Trojan with the 9th overall pick in 2009's NBA draft.

By his fifth season, DeRozan averaged 20 points for the first time and was named to his first all star team. Both he and teammate Kyle Lowry ushered in a new era of success for Canada's NBA team for the first time since Vince Carter's departure.

After his tenure with the Raptors, DeRozan was traded to the Spurs for Kawhi Leonard and continued to produce for San Antonio.

There, DeRozan played three seasons for the Texas franchise but ultimately missed the playoffs in his final two seasons.

Chicago signed DeRozan after his Spurs tenure to a contract that some analysts called the worst of the entire summer, but the Bulls reaped the rewards of such an oversight.

DeRozan re-established himself as a star in the league as the former USC product earned an All-NBA mention and MVP consideration for his 2022 season in the Windy City.

DeRozan nearly reached the postseason this past year with the Bulls again, but fell to Miami in their second play-in game this past April. Nonetheless, the forward is continuing to work by catching eyes and taking names no matter where the courts are.
