As the rest of his USC Trojans have been exploring Athens in the midst of their summer exhibition tour, incoming freshman guard Bronny James has been tending to his health stateside.

According to TMZ Sports, the 6'3" Sierra Canyon School product is currently in Rochester, Minnesota, with his father, Los Angeles Lakers All-NBA forward LeBron James, at the world-famous Mayo clinic, as the duo and some of their team look into the root cause behind his July 24th Galen Center cardiac arrest.

Bronny was a four-star recruit among his graduating high school class, and along with fellow freshman guard Isaiah Collier was the cornerstone of the highest rated NCAA recruiting class in USC's history.

Fan footage captured LeBron and some of his support team traveling through Rochester during the trip.

It would be a shame for Bronny's NCAA (and presumed pro) journey to be grounded before truly taking flight during the 2023-24 season. Like his dad during his high school days, Bronny is a super-athlete, albeit without LeBron's size (Bronny is six inches shorter and 70 pounds lighter) or passing acumen. Bronny is considered a top-notch perimeter defender, but still needs to hone his jump shot.

Considered a mid-first round pick in the draft class of 2024, Bronny has a bright basketball future ahead of him should he continue it. His health comes first. Our fingers are crossed that he can get through this.
