USC Basketball: Trojan Transfer Weighs In On How Bronny James Is Adjusting

In this story:
Incoming USC Trojans transfer forward DJ Rodman recently revealed how another new addition to the Cardinal and Gold, Bronny James, is dealing with his discouraging recent health issues, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
James suffered a cardiac arrest on July 24th while getting in a Galen Center morning workout.
"He's just a very positive guy, and every time I see him, it's just a big smile and a 'What's up?'" Rodman said. "I'm just so relieved that [it] was not anything more severe than that. I mean it was just very, I wouldn't say traumatizing, but it was a huge hit on [us], and I had to run out [of the gym]. I couldn't handle another one like that."
"It doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't matter how invincible you think you are. It could happen to anyone," Rodman cautioned. "And I know I'm not taking anything for granted. I know Bronny never took anything for granted. And I'm just happy that he's great."
Rodman, like James, is the son of a Hall of Fame NBA forward who's won multiple titles. That's right, he's the son of former Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls great Dennis Rodman, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year and member of the NBA's 75 Team, a 75th anniversary list celebrating the league's best.
