USC Basketball: How Continuity In This Category Could Help Trojans This Year

In this story:
Your USC Trojans will have a number of new faces to look forward to in the 2023-2024 season after their scouting department successfully pulled off one of their best recruiting periods of all time. Not only will Isaiah Collier be continuing his basketball career with the Trojans but so will the likes of Bronny James, DJ Rodman, Arrinten Page and Brandon Gardner. James' current state of health remains up in the air so we continue sending him the best of wishes as we wait to see if he will play this year.
But even with all of this fresh talent coming in to USC, head coach Andy Enfield will also consistently look to a number of his returning players to lead the way and guide the team to what should be one of their best seasons ever. They have the roster and coaching staff to make noise in not just the Pac-12 conference this year but also the March Madness tournament.
One of the best surprises of the offseason was hearing that Boogie Ellis would wait one more year to enter the NBA Draft and instead opted to return to USC for one last run. He dropped 17 points per game last year and will be among the best college basketball guards in the game.
On top of him, Kobe Johnson and Vincent Iwuchukwu will also be returning to rock the red and gold so it should come as no surprise that your Trojans are among the best Pac-12 squads when it comes to returning scoring by percentage.

USC currently sits at the number five spot with a 55.3 percentage. it's great to know that so many productive players will be representing the school this season and Enfield will have an excellent mix of veterans and young talent.
