USC Basketball: Senior Role Player Singled Out For Critical Performance Vs Utes

Joshua Morgan has returned to proper form.

The USC Trojans stumbled the last two games but picked up a big win against the Utah Utes last night. A huge reason for the team's success is senior forward Joshua Morgan.

Morgan is the big man in front who had been absent after contracting a very severe virus that kept him sidelined for weeks. The virus had been so bad that it led to the young player losing weight, among other things.

Morgan was all over the court last night and even secured the game-winning block. Head coach Andy Enfield gave Morgan a shout-out for his huge game, especially after battling back from a nasty virus.

There is nothing worse than a bad flu or some other virus that decimates your ability to retain energy. Morgan had to let this virus pass through him in order to get back on the court.

Thankfully, the young man is doing fine and has regained his ability to be dominant on the court.

Morgan ended the game with 7 points, 4 blocks, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal.

Morgan's absence has certainly been felt by the team, but with him now back in the lineup—the Trojans will hopefully be able to continue landing some big wins.
