In this story:

Even though most of the hype surrounding the current University of Southern California Trojans' recruiting class will be centered around Bronny James and Isaiah Collier due to their own respective resumes and skillsets, Brandon Gardner will be a game-changer on both ends of the floor and don't be surprised if he carves out a huge role when he takes the floor for them this year.

Gardner stands at 6'8 and weighs in at over 200 pounds. He spent majority of his high school career at Christ The King and developed a persona on the court that drew attention from many of the top scouts across the nation. Many opposing teams will be looking to attack USC's defense and prove that their big names do not mean much, but having Gardner bolster the defense along with new transfer DJ Rodman, you've got to feel good about the Trojans' chances.

And USC basketball just took to their Twitter to announce that Gardner will be wearing number 13 in his first year with the university.

Take a look for yourself!

One by one, all of the new guys are getting settled in and it's great to see. Last year's squad had their season ended early in the March Madness tournament but with a number of them returning this year, they'll have a chip on their shoulder to not only win but also help mentor the incoming freshman.

Gardener has already been labeled as one of the most mature guys in his class but you can never learn too much especially in your first year. This season cannot come soon enough!
