USC Basketball Vs Long Beach State: Betting Odds, How To Watch, Predictions, More

Can Bronny James give the Trojans a boost?

Your 5-3 USC Trojans will host the 6-4 Long Beach State University Dirtbags (no, seriously, that's their name) this Sunday at the Galen Center.

This out-of-conference matchup should be a lot better than expected, as while LBSU doesn't carry household name recognition, they're a solid mid-major team that defeated Michigan 94-86 on the road just a couple of weeks ago.

The Trojans last played the Long Beach State, then the 49ers, on December 14th, 2022, where the Trojans defeated LBSU 88-78 at home.

With LBSU returning a couple of key pieces and having that impressive road win against Michigan, there's a decent shot they can keep things close.

Much of this matchup will be focused on Bronny James' debut, as the 6-foot-3 combo guard out of Sierra Canyon has been cleared to play following his cardiac arrest episode back in July.

Here's how you can watch this game:

Game Date: December 10th, 2023

Game Time: 1 p.m. PST

Network: Pac-12 Network

With USC already having been upset by the UC Irvine Anteaters a few games ago, it's not far fetched to suggest that LBSU could pull something off. We'll see if Andy Enfield and co. can defend home turf in this mid-finals week matchup.
