Caleb Williams to be presented with Heisman Trophy at USC's spring game

Williams beat out TCU quarterback Max Duggan, Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud and Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennet to claim USC's seventh all-time Heisman

USC's spring football game will take place on Saturday at noon inside the Coliseum. It will be Trojans fans' last chance to see USC suit up before the team starts the 2023 regular season.

The game will also include a special celebration as well...

USC head coach Lincoln Riley confirmed on Monday night's episode of Trojans Live that quarterback Caleb Williams will be honored with USC's copy of his Heisman Trophy on Saturday.

Williams beat out TCU quarterback Max Duggan, Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud and Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennet to claim USC's seventh all-time Heisman.

A RECORD BREAKING 2022

Williams' 4,537 passing yards a year ago set a new USC record. So did his 4,919 total offensive yards. Additionally, Williams set new USC records for total touchdowns (52) and passing touchdowns (42) in a season.

In USC's 48-45 win over UCLA at the Rose Bowl, Williams broke another USC record with his 503 yards from scrimmage.

Here are the other USC football records Williams set in 2022:

- Lowest interception rate in school history (1%)

- Most passes completed (333)

- Most passes attempted (500)

- Highest all-time passing efficiency rating (168.5)

- Most rushing yards by a QB (382)

Back in February, Pro Football Focus released a mock draft that included every college football player from the 2022 season regardless of their eligibility. Williams came in as the top pick.

With Williams in the fold and Kliff Kingsbury expected to join USC's staff as quarterbacks coach, the Trojans should have one of the most exciting offenses in college football next fall.
