USC Wide Receiver Ranked Highest Among Immediate-Impact Transfers

In this story:
The depth the Trojans have at receiver will potentially make them have one of the best wideout rooms in the country. With Brenden Rice, Mario Williams, and Tahj Washington returning and a class of highly-touted freshman receivers bursting with potential, quarterback Caleb Williams will have plenty of options in the passing game.
Yet, a former Arizona Wildcat has the potential to be the best Trojan receiver this season.
When he first watched Dorian Singer in the Trojans' 45-37 shootout against Arizona, Williams knew he wanted to play with the 6-foot receiver who can seemingly catch anything thrown his way.
"It means a lot," Singer said. "Just for the simple fact that prior to me knowing him, he said a lot of great things about me."

Just check out his highlight tape from last season. He's not a big guy, but the kid can outright play. The now-junior had 141 yards and three touchdowns against the spotty Trojan defense this season. Defensive Coordinator Alex Grinch is likely happy to have the former Wildcat on his sideline in 2023.
Because of his elite ability to make spectacular catches, it is no surprise that Singer made Bleacher Report staff writer Morgan Moriarty's list of college football transfers who will immediately upgrade offenses this season.
"The mentality is just - every time I'm out there, make it the best," Singer said. "Even if it's a run play, pass play. What I did last year was good and all - it was very good what I did last year - but it's a new year with a new team, so I'm just excited to see what I could do."

Williams is the best quarterback in college football, winning the Heisman as a sophomore last season, and adding Singer to the mix will only bolster the high-flying USC offense.
