Report: USC football target cancels Oregon Ducks official visit

Four-star cornerback Zabien Brown officially visited USC last weekend

USC has added five class of 2024 commits in the past three days and that number is expected to grow in the near future.

One name to pay attention to for USC fans is Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) four-star cornerback Zabien Brown. Brown officially visited USC last week and following the trip, he told 247Sports.com's Greg Biggins that he canceled one of his upcoming official visits.

“I won’t be making my visit to Oregon but I still have Ohio State and Alabama coming up," he said.

As the nation's No. 5 ranked CB, it's obvious to see why two of the best programs in the country are also in on the Brown sweepstakes. USC, Ohio State and Alabama are the only schools Brown is now considering.

2024 RECRUITING UPDATE

Three-star Cherry Creek (Englewood, Colo.) offensive lineman Hayden Treter was the first player who visited USC last weekend to commit to the Trojans. He announced his decision on Sunday morning. Later that day, four-star Clearwater (Fla.) safety Jarvis Boatwright also picked USC.

On Monday, four-star Serra (Gardena, Calif.) cornerback Dakoda Fields and four-star Booker T. Washington (Atlanta) defensive end Kameryn Fountain committed, but USC still wasn't done. The Trojans secured a verbal pledge from four-star Central Catholic (Modesto, Calif.) offensive lineman Manasse Itete later that day too.

"USC is a powerhouse," Itete said. "They are doing a good job with guys at different positions, and also they're moving to the Big 10 against a lot of big dawgs."
