Dijon Lee Jr. is a highly coveted recruit, with over twenty offers from programs from across the country. The 6'3”, 180-pound junior cornerback is On3's #1 ranked player in California's 2025 cycle, as well as the 4th ranked corner in the country and the 24th ranked recruit regardless of position. He is a consensus four-star prospect as of January 5th. Lee is also an accomplished track athlete, posting a PR of 44-6.5 in the triple jump as a junior. According to his Twitter, Lee posted 55 total tackles (22 solo), a pair of interceptions, 13 pass break-ups to go along with five touchdowns and 558 total yards on the offensive side of the ball. Lee plays for a powerhouse program at Mission Viejo, often covering some of the best talent high school football has to offer in both practice and in games.
USC currently does not have a single commit to its 2025 class. Once the 2024 cycle wraps up here in February, that number should begin to grow. USC's former defensive backs coach Donte Williams (who was the DB's coach when the Trojans offered Lee Jr.) is now in Georgia. Had Williams remained at USC, that would have likely give the club a deep competitive advantage in Lee’s recruitment. What remains to be seen is how effective USC recruiting will be at courting elite defensive backs now with Williams gone.
