Another one of Virginia's recruiting targets in the class of 2024 has come off the board. Four-star forward Isaiah Abraham cut his recruitment down to four schools and did not include UVA as his top four finalists are Virginia Tech, Marquette, Providence, and UConn, per a report from On3's Joe Tipton

Unfortunately for the Cavaliers, that means that yet another highly-touted prospect from the Commonwealth of Virginia will be headed elsewhere to play college basketball. A 6'7" wing from Paul VI Catholic in Fairfax, Virginia, Abraham is ranked the No. 3 overall recruit in the state as well as the No. 14 power forward and the No. 71 player in the recruiting class of 2024, per 247Sports. According to the report from On3, Abraham intends to announce his decision by mid-July.

Virginia is still in the hunt for Abraham's high school teammate at Paul VI, four-star center Patrick Ngongba II, but his recruitment is heating up with offers pouring in from several major conference programs. Ngongba II took visits to Duke and defending NCAA champions UConn earlier this month.

UVA's top recruiting target is Christian Bliss, a four-star point guard from Newtown, Pennsylvania. Bliss has Virginia in his top four along with Miami, Villanova, and Xavier and he took an official visit to UVA last week.

With Abraham off the board, Virginia currently has active offers out to seven players in the recruiting class of 2024:

CG Jaeden Mustaf (Matthews, NC)
SG Rakease Passmore (Asheville, NC)
SF Kon Knueppel (Milwaukee, WI)
PG Travis Perry (Eddyville, KY)
C Patrick Ngongba II (Fairfax, VA)
PG Christian Bliss (Newtown, PA)
PG Trent Perry (Studio City, CA)
