Virginia wins another overtime thriller for the second week in a row. A direct-snap rush from J'Mari Taylor from a couple yards out secures the Hoo's win over Louisville, 30-27. Read below for a game thread in reverse chronological order.

Final: Virginia 30, Louisville 27

Another incredible overtime win for Virginia! J'Mari Taylor punches it in on a direct-snap alongside backup quarterback Daniel Kaelin wins it for the Hoo's. On the previous play, Chandler Morris tries to will his way for the UVA first down and gets hit hard by a group of Cardinals. He gets up after the play and looks to be okay in the long-run.

Overtime One Drive One: Virginia 24, Louisville 27

Isaac Brown is not able to convert on third down pass near the to the goal line. Louisville settles for three points in the opening drive. Miller Moss makes one deep pass down the field to set up the Louisville offense near the end zone.

End of Quarter Four - Virginia 24, Louisville 24

The Virginia offense is not finding the play they need to make a final push. This game goes to overtime. Another contest with some extra football for the Hoo's.

Louisville drills a field goal from 50 yards out to tie it up at 24. Moss gets away with another scary pass on third down after delivering on key passes including a strike to Kris Hughes for 33 yards to flip the field. Hoo's defensive lineman Jason Hammond and Hunter Osborne get major sacks for huge losses on Moss.

Louisville's pass rush wraps up the drive with a huge sack on Chandler Morris. Morris keeps missing receivers by just a step. Virginia is still inches away from hitting on a major game-changing play on offense. On a good note, the Cavaliers converted on another fourth down. J'Mari Taylor keeps getting consistent work, barreling down the field for the Hoo's.

Mitchell Melton with another sack! This time it's for a huge 12-yard loss putting the Cardinals way behind the sticks to start the fourth quarter. Punt.

UVA settles for three points after a drive that started with a short field stalls. Virginia is just missing a big play. Chandler Morris overthrows Cam Ross on a strike down near the end zone. J'Mari Taylor also dropped another pass this drive.

UVA goes for it on fourth and ten and Morris just heaves it down field. Louisville gets the ball at their own 35-yard line. J'Mari Taylor is still doing his part to work the ball down the field and keep the Hoo's offense on track on their drives.

Halftime - Virginia 14, Louisville 14

A huge break for UVA. Louisville misses a field goal 41-yard field goal after Moss drove down the field. Louisville had great field position after the penalty on the punt made the drive way shorter. Virginia knees it out.

A crucial drop kills the drop by J'Mari Taylor on a quick out route that would have netted a big gain. Punt. A horse collar also brings the Louisville offense closer to midfield. Earlier in the drive, backup tight end John Rodgers got hit hard on a 26-yard completion and lost the ball but the refs determine his knee was down before the fumble. A scare for the tight end getting his shot tonight after Twitty's injury.

Moss and Bell are lighting up the UVA defense in the first half. Moss continues to put it right where Bell can get it along the sidelines on impressively long throws. Bell has 130 yards and a score before the half time horn.

Chandler Morris drops a dime to Cam Ross in the end zone. Another score from the senior quarterback. The running game also looks as explosive as ever - especially J'Mari Taylor. Taylor leads all Hoo's backs this game with 34 yards, so far.

Miller Moss punches it in from a few yards out on the ground. Steady dose of Moss throwing the ball down the field, once again. Chris Bell is getting a lot of attention in the first quarter, leading receivers so far with 83 yards.

The Cavaliers scoop and score! A Louisville gaff on a toss to running back Isaac Brown leads to a fumble, picked up by Donavon Platt for a score! Miller Moss was picking apart the UVA defense down the field. Virginia's tackling did not look great to start this game. There are also plenty of penalties on both teams early.

The Louisville pass rush disrupts a 3rd down pass fom Morris. Sadly, another devastating blow to the Hoo's offense on just the second play of the drive. Tight end Dakota Twitty had to be stretchered off with a serious lower leg injury. Twitty previously suffered an ACL injury his freshman year and hamstring issues this past season.
