Who Will Be Washington's Next Commit?

After Paki Finau's commitment to the Huskies, who's next?

Washington is starting to pick up momentum on the recruiting trail. After scheduling visits with several big-name prospects, including four-star defensive lineman Jericho Johnson, the question begs ... who's next?

It appears the coaching staff is going to take between 17-20 players in the class of 2024, and it clearly has emphasized its needs on defense and continuing to build depth on the offensive line. There should also be an expectation that two or three high-caliber receivers will also be taken each year, to keep pace with the elite passing attack the Huskies displayed in 2022.

That being said, who could be the next person to join the class of 2024?

4-star WR Emmett Mosley

After finalizing three official visits with UCLA, Stanford and Washington in that order, it feels like the Huskies are in a great position to land the product of Santa Margarita High School in California. Mosley is scheduled to begin his official visit to Washington on June 24, and looks like a perfect fit for offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb's offense on tape.

3-star LB Khmori House

Another product of California powerhouse St. John Bosco, House could be following in the footsteps of his former teammate and 2023 Washington signee, linebacker Devin Bryant. House has pulled in an impressive offer list that includes Oklahoma and Notre Dame, but currently has scheduled only an official visit to Montlake.

The coaching staff has pushed to set up a pipeline with the California powerhouse and it appears to be paying off.

3-star OL Devin Brooks

Offensive line coach Scott Huff has proven to be one of the Huskies' best recruiters during his time on Montlake. Not only can he bring in talent, but he's also shown to be an excellent evaluator of film and has developed some excellent players.

He seems to have his sights set on three-star Devin Brooks next. Brooks, a product of Clackamas High in Oregon, is an imposing presence at 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, and projects out as an interior lineman at the next level. The Huskies currently are scheduled as his final visit, which is usually a good sign on the recruiting front.
