2023 Wisconsin Football Game-By-Game Predictions: Week 9 through Week 13

After suffering an embarrassing loss at home to Iowa in Week 7, the Wisconsin Badgers football team put themselves in a tough situation. In fact, many (including myself) called the Badgers Week 8 matchup at Illinois a "must-win" game if they wanted any chance of winning the Big Ten West. Well, after a rough three quarters, Wisconsin stormed back on Saturday from 14 points down in the fourth quarter to defeat Illinois 25-21. That win, coupled with Iowa losing at home to Minnesota, puts the Badgers back in the driver's seat in the Big Ten West. With that being said, let's take a look at how I believe the remainder of the season will go for Wisconsin.
Predicting the Remainder of the 2023 Regular Season
Here are my predictions for the remainder of Wisconsin's regular season. As you can see, I have the Badgers winning four of their final five games of the season.

Why it Matters
The Badgers find themselves in a promising position in the Big Ten West, boasting a 3-1 record that places them half a game ahead of Iowa, who stands at 3-2 in conference play. This scenario translates into the Badgers having firm control over their destiny as they aim for the coveted spot in the Big Ten Championship Game. With my current expectations, Wisconsin is poised to conclude the season with an impressive 10-2 overall record, including a strong 7-2 performance in the Big Ten. This would punch their ticket to the Big Ten Championship Game.

Bottom Line: Controlling Their Own Destiny
The Badgers understood the gravity of their Week 8 matchup against Illinois and delivered when it mattered most. After a challenging three quarters, they orchestrated a remarkable comeback to clinch a pivotal win, reigniting their hopes of claiming the Big Ten West title. This triumph, coupled with Iowa's stumble, firmly places the Badgers back in the driver's seat. With my predictions pointing toward an impressive 10-2 season and a coveted spot in the Big Ten Championship Game, the Badgers are once again proving their mettle in the conference. With that being said, can we just skip this week's game against Ohio State?
