Project L Opinions From The EVO Arcade

2XKO has been a much-discussed fighting game in the FGC, with gamers anxious to see their favorite League of Legends characters duke it out in a new format and experience the game's unique mechanics that will possibly shake up the fighting game genre, especially in the competitive scene

For a while, developers were sharing interesting gameplay footage and behind-the-scenes discussions related to the game's progress. Despite all this, the name was still unknown and everyone was referring to it as Project L.

Now, Riot has shared the name as well as some upcoming information on 2XKO for 2024.

2XKO Updates In 2024

2XKO is a 2v2 tag-based fighting game with team-based gameplay that's quite different compared to other fighting games of a similar subgenre. One unique appeal of 2XKO is in its two-player communication and teamwork, which has fans excited to see how dynamic the esports scene will be. 2XKO can also be played solo as a traditional fighting game, or in any combination of solos and pairs.

When is the 2XKO Release Date?

The game is looking at a 2025 launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S | X, and PC. Ahead of that, however, Riot Games has announced playable demos of 2XKO around the world throughout 2024. This includes at Evo Japan in April.

"We're also hoping to start at-home playtesting before the end of the year," developers added in an official press release. "If you wanna participate, you can sign up right now on the 2XKO website."
