Declan McMahon, son of WWE legend Shane McMahon and grandson of Vince McMahon, has announced he will play for the Indiana football program.

"So proud to be Declan's father," Shane McMahon said on Twitter after his son announced he will play for the Hoosiers. "Hard work pays off. Go Hoosiers!"

Indiana coach Tom Allen offered McMahon a preferred walk-on role on March 7 and the player has since made a personal visit to Bloomington.

McMahon is an accomplished high school running back/quarterback hybrid who played his varsity career at Poly Prep Country Day in Brooklyn, New York.

McMahon also received offers from Fordham and East Carolina, but he'll instead play his college football career in the Big Ten without a scholarship.

Indiana has signed 21 players as part of its 2022 football recruiting class, with services ranking the Hoosiers among the top 30 programs in the nation.
