The race to sign Arch Manning continues as the consensus No. 1 player in the college football recruiting cycle took an official visit to Georgia this weekend.

The reigning national champions remain in the mix for the quarterback, who was spotted wearing a Georgia football uniform on his visit to Athens.

Manning called Athens "the best college town I've ever been to," and was on campus to see Georgia's win over South Carolina early last season.

Manning has kept his intentions a private matter and only spoken with the media on a few occasions, but three schools remain the favorite to sign the quarterback.

Texas, Georgia, and Alabama are schools Manning is paying the most attention to, although the player did mention a continued interest in LSU and Florida, as well.

But the Longhorns remain the odds-on favorite to land the quarterback, with a 51 percent chance to sign Manning, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Georgia places a close second at 44.8 percent, while Alabama trails at 2.1 percent.

Alabama has dropped in the race to sign Manning, according to recruiting analysts, after the Crimson Tide signed 4-star 2023 quarterback prospect Eli Holstein.

Manning is a consensus 5-star prospect and the universal selection as the No. 1 player in the 2023 recruiting class.
