The Seattle Mariners rolled the Houston Astros on Saturday night by a score of 10-3. With the win, the Mariners are a season-high 13 games over .500 at 68-55. They still have a 0.5 game lead over the Toronto Blue Jays for the final wild card spot in the American League.

After beating Houston, they only trail the Astros by 1.5 games for the second wild card spot.

Once again, the Mariners were fueled offensively by star outfielder Julio Rodriguez. The 22-year-old All-Star went 4-for-6 with four singles and a stolen base, capping off the best four-game stretch in baseball history.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Julio Rodríguez 4-game stretch in a nutshell:

17 hits, the most in a 4-game span since 1900 (passed 1925 Milt Stock)

4 straight 4-hit games, T-longest streak since 1900 (tied with 1925 Milt Stock)

While Rodriguez made the All-Star Game this season, he has really picked it up in the second half of the season. The reigning AL Rookie of the Year is now hitting .278 with 21 home runs and 79 RBI. He's got 33 stolen bases and has raised his OPS to an even .800.

Rodriguez's offense weren't the only fireworks in this game, as the two benches cleared after Astros pitcher Framber Valdez appeared to throw at Mariners infielder Jose Caballero.

The M's will take on the Astros again on Sunday afternoon as they go for a sweep. First pitch from Houston is set for 1:05 p.m. ET as Emerson Hancock (SEA) pitches against Hunter Brown (HOU).
