It's been an incredible year for the Braves from a power perspective and Olson is no different. Since being acquired from the Oakland Athletics before the 2022 season, he's been everything the team could have hoped for.
He went 2-for-4 in a win over the Brewers on Friday and is now hitting .256 this year. He's got the 33 homers and has added in 82 RBI.
With Olson, Austin Riley, Ozzie Albies, Sean Murphy and probable National League MVP Ronald Acuna Jr., the Braves are on the short list of favorites to win the World Series this season.
Lifetime, Olson is a .250 hitter with 209 homers and 558 RBI.
He's in his eighth MLB season with the A's and Braves.
The Braves enter Saturday with the best record in all of baseball. At 65-36, they are 10.0 games up in the National League East, which is the biggest lead of any division in baseball.
They'll take on the Brewers again on Saturday at Truist Park.
First pitch is set for 7:20 p.m. ET as Julio Teheran (MIL) pitches against Bryce Elder. Teheran, a former Brave, is 2-4 with a 3.75 ERA while Elder is 7-2 with a 3.30 ERA.
