Atlanta Braves Offense Continues Its Historic Home Run Distance Pace

In this story:
The Atlanta Braves just hit the baseball further than every one else in the league.
And that's not hyperbole, the stats bear that out.
Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com on Twitter:
the Braves have hit 16 450+ ft homers this year
NO OTHER TEAM HAS MORE THAN 6 (Rockies/Angels)
most 450+ ft HR by a team in a single season under Statcast (2015) is 19, by the 2021 Rockies
the 16 are most by a non-COL team, breaking a tie at 15 with the 2017 Marlins + Yankees

So, there's a lot going on there. The Braves have hit SIXTEEN home runs of more than 450 feet this year? Armed with Ronald Acuna Jr., Matt Olson, Michael Harris II, Austin Riley and others, the Braves have some of the best power in the entire sport.
They've already broken the record for most home runs at that distance in a season for any team not based in Colorado, and we still have more than half the season to go.
It's this kind of power that has the Braves in a position to be one of the World Series favorites in the National League.
Atlanta currently leads the National League East by five games over the Miami Marlins and owns the best record in the entire National League entering play on Monday.
Atlanta is off on Monday but will open up a series with the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night in Philadelphia.
Spencer Strider goes for the Braves while Ranger Suarez will pitch for the division rivals.
