Pair of Atlanta Braves Teammates Do Something Not Done in More Than Last 20 Years of Baseball

In this story:
The Atlanta Braves lost to the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday 10-6 but that didn't stop sluggers Matt Olson and Austin Riley from accomplishing a little baseball history with the long ball.
Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com:

It's been more than 20 years since a pair of teammates went back-to-back as regularly as these two do, and with more than 20 games to go in the season, they will have a chance to catch and break the record.
The feat came in the sixth inning as both players homered off of Cardinals righty Miles Mikolas. Riley came first, followed by Olson. Both players went 1-for-4 in the game. Riley is now hitting .275 for the season with 33 homers and 84 RBI. He's posted an .839 OPS.
As for Olson, he's hitting .266 with 45 homers and 114 RBI. He leads all of baseball in the latter two categories and is one home run ahead of Shohei Ohtani.
With this kind of power, and the power-speed combo of Ronald Acuna Jr., the Braves have the best record in the National League at 90-47. They won the World Series in 2021 and are one of the few favorites to win again this year.
The Braves and Cardinals will play again on Wednesday night at 7:20 p.m. ET.
