Kansas City Royals' Young Star Just Did Something That's Never Been Done in Baseball

In this story:
The Kansas City Royals won their seventh straight game on Friday night, beating the Philadelphia Phillies 7-5.
The Royals' win has them at 36-75 for the year and was paced by second-year star Bobby Witt Jr. The cornerstone of the Royals franchise went 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI in the win. He hit a two-run home run and stole a base and his performance put him in the baseball history books.
Per ESPN Stats & Info:
Bobby Witt Jr. launched his 20th homer of the season in the 3rd inning.
Witt is the first player in MLB history to hit 20 home runs and steal 30 bases in each of his first two seasons.

While this year has been a lost one for the Royals, it's been great to see Witt continue to develop. If the Royals are going to improve as an organization, he's going to be at the heart of it.
He's hitting .270 this season with the 20 homers and now 66 RBI. He's stolen 32 bases. He's just 23 years old.
He was the Royals No. 2 overall draft pick in the 2019 draft out of the Texas high school ranks.
The Royals and Phillies will play again on Saturday night. First pitch from Citizens Bank Park is set for 6:05 p.m. ET as Alec Marsh (KC) pitches against Christopher Sanchez.
Marsh enters the game at 0-5 with a 6.75 ERA while Sanchez is 0-3 with a 2.66 ERA.
Philadelphia is 59-51 on the year.
