Surging Milwaukee Brewers Offense Continues Historic Tear in Win on Saturday

In this story:
The Milwaukee Brewers pounded the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards for the second consecutive game on Saturday, winning by a score of 11-5.
In the win, Milwaukee had 15 hits, including home runs by Rhys Hoskins and Jake Bauers.
Furthermore, Saturday's tear continues a recent stretch of dominant offense by Milwaukee, as noted by Sarah Langs of MLB.com:
The Brewers have tied a franchise record with their sixth straight game of 7+ runs, also done in:

Considering how much better pitching is and how much harder offense is since the 1980s, that's an incredible accomplishment for a Brewers team that was expeced to really regress in 2024.
After winning the National League Central a season ago, Milwaukee traded away Corbin Burnes and then lost Brandon Woodruff to a season-ending injury. Furthermore, Eric Lauer and Adrian Houser are gone, and All-Star closer Devin Williams is out until at least June with a back issue.
Yet, the Brewers are 10-3 right now and in first place in the division.
As for Baltimore, they have been approaching 100 consecutive series without being swept, and they need to win on Sunday to keep that streak going.
The two teams will meet on Sunday with the first pitch coming at 1:35 p.m. ET. Right-hander Collin Rea will pitch for the Brewers. He's 2-0 with a 1.64 ERA.
Burnes, who previously won a Cy Young Award with the Brewers, will pitch for Baltimore. He's been dominant since arriving in the Charm City, going 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA.
