The Minnesota Twins lost to the Houston Astros on Saturday night in Game 1 of the American League Division Series.

As a result, the Twins are now just two losses away from their season ending.

In defeat, Minnesota got home runs from both Jorge Polanco and Royce Lewis. For Lewis, it was his third home run of the postseason, marking his ascension to the top of some baseball history.

Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com:

ROYCE LEWIS

3 HR in his 1st 3 career postseason games are tied for 2nd-most by any player in 1st 3 career PS games, behind only:

1996 Juan Gonzalez: 4

it’s the MOST by a rookie in his 1st 3 postseason games

The home run in the seventh inning off Hector Neris came on a 93-mph fastball and was driven out deep to left field.

The 24-year-old infielder is now hitting .273 through 11 playoff at-bats. Formerly one of the top prospects in baseball, he's battled injuries over the past few years, but when healthy, there's no doubt about his ability to hit.

In 217 at-bats this year, he played to a .309 average with 15 homers and 52 RBI. If he's able to stay healthy, he'll be a lineup fixture in Minnesota for years to come.

The Twins will get another crack at the Astros on Sunday night and will look to even the series. First pitch from Minute Maid Park is set for 8:03 p.m. ET as Framber Valdez (HOU) pitches against Pablo Lopez (MIN).
