Kyle Schwarber, Phillies' Offense Accomplishing Rare Things Right Now

In this story:
The Philadelphia Phillies routed the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night 10-0 to take a 2-0 series lead in the NLCS.
As a result of the win, Philadelphia is just two wins away from its second trip to the World Series in as many years.
Throughout this playoff run, which has the Phillies at 7-1 overall, the pitching has been historically great, but the offense is also putting up historic numbers.
First, with regards to team as a whole, per ESPN Stats & Info:
The Phillies now own a +31 run differential at home this postseason.
Only one team in MLB history finished a postseason with a +30 run differential at home:
the 2007 Red Sox (+39).

That Red Sox team went onto win the World Series, so they are in good company. The Phillies are seeking their first World Series title since 2008.
Next, slugger Kyle Schwarber hit two home runs in the Game 2 victory, giving him a claim to some baseball history as well.
With 2 HR last night, Kyle Schwarber now has 10 HR in the League Championship Series, tying Albert Pujols for the 2nd-most in MLB postseason history.
Only Manny Ramírez has more HR in the LCS all-time (13).

Schwarber helped the Cubs win the World Series back in 2016 and helped the Red Sox get to the ALCS in 2021, in addition to the Phillies and the NLCS in 2022. Lifetime, he's a .239 hitter in the playoffs with 18 homers and 31 RBI.
Game 3 of the NLCS will be played on Thursday night.
