Atlanta Braves' Superstar Stealing His Way Up the Team Record Books

The Atlanta Braves lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday afternoon 8-4 but Braves' star Ronald Acuna Jr. continued to move up the all-time franchise record books.
By stealing his 64th base of the year, Acuna Jr. now has the sixth-most steals in a single season of any player in team history.

In addition to his stolen base, Acuna Jr. went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. One of the favorites for the National League MVP award, Acuna Jr. is now hitting .336 with 35 homers and 91 RBI.
The 25-year-old is one of the best young players in all of baseball and is one of the reasons why the Braves have the best record in baseball at 92-49.
He'll be battling with Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts for the MVP award. Both of those players have already won an MVP award while Acuna Jr. is looking for his first.
The Braves will host the Pirates again on Sunday afternoon. First pitch from Truist Park is set for 1:35 p.m. ET.
Luis L. Ortiz gets the ball for Pittsburgh while Allan Winans pitches for Atlanta.
Ortiz is 4-4 with a 4.90 ERA while Winans is 1-1 with a 5.17.
The Pirates are 66-76 on the season.
