San Diego Padres' Star Continues to Re-Write Record Books in Young Career

In this story:
The San Diego Padres beat the Oakland Athletics on Friday night 8-3. It was the 70th win of the year for the Padres, who reached the NLCS last season and are one of the most disappointing teams in all of baseball this year.
In the win, Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. The home run was his 25th of the year and put him alongside some impressive company in baseball history.
Per @StatsCentre:
Registering a solo dinger the 1st inning of his @Padres 8-3 victory over the Athletics on Friday night, Fernando Tatis Jr. celebrated his 400th big league game by notching the 106th round tripper of his MLB career. That sits 1 up for 7th on this list of players through that many

Through 400 games, Tatis Jr. only has fewer home runs than Ryan Howard, Pete Alonso, Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Joey Gallo and Yordan Alvarez.
After returning from injury and a PED suspension that cost him all of 2022, Tatis Jr. has put together a very solid season. He's hitting .263 with the 25 homers, 77 RBI and 26 stolen bases. He's got an OPS of .795.
Still just 24 years old, Tatis Jr. is a lifetime .283 hitter with 106 homers and 272 RBI. He's stolen 78 bases and is a marquee piece of the Padres future.
The Padres and A's will play again on Saturday at 4:07 p.m. ET.
The Padres give the ball to Matt Waldron while the A's will start phenom Mason Miller.
