Toronto Blue Jays' All-Star Hits Career Milestone on Saturday and Makes His Mark on Multiple Record Books

In this story:
The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox on Saturday afternoon 4-3 in 13 innings in a crucial game in the American League playoff picture.
The win, coupled with a Seattle Mariners loss, moved the Blue Jays into sole possession of the third and final wild card spot in the American League. Toronto is looking for its second straight playoff berth after being eliminated in the wild card round by Seattle in 2022.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-3 with a home run and three walks in the win. The home run was his 24th of the year and also helped him achieve a personal milestone of recording his 400th RBI.

Putting yourself in company with World Series legends and team Hall of Famers is certainly a good thing for Guerrero Jr., who has had an average year by his own standards this year. He's hitting .267 with the 24 homers and 90 RBI. He did make the All-Star team and won the Home Run Derby this year.
In addition to moving up the team record books, he also moved up the baseball record books in general.
