Trio of MLB Stars Go Viral For Hanging Out at NFL Playoff Game

With spring training less than a month away, MLB stars Aaron Judge, Gleyber Torres and Julio Rodriguez were getting their last bits of fun out on Monday night, hanging out the NFL playoff game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Phillies.

With spring training less than one month away, New York Yankees stars Aaron Judge and Gleyber Torres, as well as Seattle Mariners star Julio Rodriguez, were apparently getting some of their last bits of fun out on Monday night.

Not to imply that playing baseball isn't fun for them, but it's a job. Hanging out at the NFL playoff game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Phillies probably qualifies as fun and as a way to blow off steam before the season gets going.

The MLB "X" account posted a photo of Judge, and re-posted a picture that Rodriguez posted himself. The ESPN cameras even panned to Judge, who was sitting in a box.

It's not known if any of these players are actually fans of these teams but Judge was wearing a throwback Bucs sweatshirt underneath his coat. With the Yankees having spring training in Tampa, it makes sense that Torres and Judge would spend time there, and possibly that they've adopted the local team as well.

As for their days jobs, these are three of the best players in baseball. Judge, 31, is a five-time All-Star, a home run champion, a three-time Silver Slugger, an MVP and a Rookie of the Year. He's the face of the Yankees.

Torres, 27, is in the final year of his contract. He's a two-time All-Star who is a career .267 hitter. He's coming off a season in which he hit 25 homers for the Yankees, who appear to have improved this offseason after acquiring Juan Soto and signing Marcus Stroman.

Rodriguez, 23, won the Rookie of the Year in the American League in 2022 and is coming off a season in which he hit 32 home runs and stole 37 bases.
