Arizona Diamondbacks Star Corbin Carroll Spends All-Star Break Hanging Out at His Old Little League

In this story:
Arizona Diamondbacks star Corbin Carroll didn't get a hit in Tuesday night's All-Star Game, but this All-Star experience was clearly very special to him.
Carroll, a Seattle native, got to play in his first All-Star Game in the same stadium that he grew up going to. He spoke about how the moment was a "full circle" one for his family and he continued that trend on Wednesday, hanging out at his old Little League.
A parent in that Little League currently put the heartwarming story out on social media:
Corbin Carroll quietly did a meet and greet this afternoon for my kid’s little league, which Corbin is an alum of. He took the time for a photo, autograph, and conversation with every kid, and I was just so struck by how kind it was.

That's the kind of stuff you like to hear about, right there. Good on Carroll for not only impacting the community that he currently plays in, but also the community that he grew up in.
Carroll is having an incredible season for the upstart Diamondbacks, helping them to a share of the lead in the National League West at the break. Arizona is 52-39, tied with the 51-38 Dodgers atop the division.
Carroll is hitting .289 this year with 18 homers, 48 RBI and 26 stolen bases. He's posted a .915 OPS and is the clear front runner for the National League Rookie of the Year award. He's also got an outside chance at the NL MVP if Ronald Acuna Jr. slows down in the second half.
Arizona will start the second half of the season on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
