The Boston Red Sox will play the Puerto Rican National Team Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. ET at the Red Sox' spring training home, JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Fort Myers, Florida.

Team Puerto Rico has a star-studded roster of Major League stars, including Francisco Lindor, Javier Baez and Christian Vazquez.

Hector Santiago will start in the club's first exhibition game of the spring, as it prepares for the 2023 World Baseball Classic. Team Puerto Rico will play another exhibition game Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Puerto Rico will play its first game of the World Baseball Classic Saturday, against Nicaragua.

Left-handed minor leaguer Brandon Walter will take the mound for Alex Cora's Red Sox club. Across 11 starts in Double-A and Triple-A in 2022, Walter posted a 3-3 record and 3.59 ERA.
