Cincinnati Reds Legend Joey Votto Goes Viral For Exchange with Chris "Mad Dog" Russo

In this story:
Cincinnati Reds legend Joey Votto is going viral, not for a moment on the field, but for an exchange he had this week on MLB Network with Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo.
You can see the full clip below:
"A couple of months ago, you said that Zack Greinke and I are the "hall of very good ballplayers." I think Zack and I would agree, you may be right, but I get the gist of what's going on here. I know what you're doing. You're looking down on us, a couple of small market, Midwest ballplayers just because we're not "big city, just like you..."

Now, Votto may be being facetious just for the sake of entertainment's sake and I at least didn't take what he said to be malicious. That said, I still believe he's trying to make a point and stand up for the guys who don't play for the Yankees, Mets or Dodgers.
Votto and Greinke are both potentially Hall of Fame caliber players and having spent most of their careers in small markets shouldn't impact their candidacy.
Votto is his 17th year in the big leagues. He's a six-time All-Star who has won an MVP and a Gold Glove. He's a lifetime .296 hitter who has led the league in on-base percentage in seven different seasons.
As for Greinke, he's in his 20th year in the big leagues with the Royals, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Brewers, Angels and Astros. He's got 224 career wins, six Gold Gloves, two ERA titles and is a Cy Young winner.
