Here is Vegas' Over Under Win Total Projection for the 2023 Philadelphia Phillies

BETMGM recently released its over/under win totals, now available for betting.

The casino has the Philadelphia Phillies at 88.5 wins.

The Phillies won 87 games in 2022, receiving the third and final National League Wild Card spot in last fall's postseason. The Phillies went on a miraculous run to the World Series, winning the National League Pennant for the first time since 2009.

The Phillies, with baseball's fourth-highest payroll, hope to be even better in 2023, than they were a season ago.

Executive Dave Dombrowski signed shortstop Trea Turner to an 11-year, $300 million contract. In hopes of solidifying the club's rotation, he also signed Taijuan Walker to a four-year, $72 million contract. He also beefed up the club's bullpen, signing Matt Strahm and David Robertson, and trading for All-Star Gregory Soto.

Bryce Harper missed a significant chunk of time due to injury last season. Once he returns from Tommy John surgery early in the season, he hopes to play more than the 99 games he played in 2022.

With a healthy Harper to go with the club's new additions, the Phillies have high hopes for 2023.

The Phillies should benefit from Major League Baseball's new schedule, where teams will play less games against division opponents. Now each club will play all 29 other MLB teams, each season. The NL East was a gauntlet last season, with the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets each winning 101 games.

In order to finish above 88.5 wins, the Phillies will need to improve by at least two games from 2022.
